In Yangshuo we stayed at the Rosewood Inn. It was a great hotel and our room was a family suite - which meant two bedrooms! Hooray, a separate room for the kids! The hotel was in a great location and only accessible by walking. But the thing that made it the most interesting was the bathroom. Look closely, do you see anything missing in our bathroom?
So, you might be able to see the shower head on the wall. Yes, this is the shower! You can't see it from the picture, but there was a shower mat on the floor with the outline of feet on it (maybe in case you couldn't figure out where the shower was). But possibly the funniest part was there was a squeegee to get all the water off the floor. Even with the interesting bathroom, this was possibly one of the best hotels we have stayed at in China.
I've not seen a bathroom like that in years!!! They are like that in Albania and my cousin in North Korea said the same thing. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of our hotels in Italy was also like that. To make it even funnier, the water pressure was so intense it almost blew me onto the toilet!
ReplyDeleteSarah, I used one of those in Africa..but not near as nice!! :) I came to love that shower, however. Funny how when you are dirty it just doesn't matter!! :)
