Or otherwise known as Tioman Island is a tiny island in Malaysia about a 45 minute plane ride from Singapore. We loved this little island. It has such a laid-back feel to it. Which starts at the airport.
Boarding the plane in Singapore for Tioman.
On the runway. I am glad that Becca didn't know how small the runway was before we landed. Or that it ended into the mountainside. My girl does not need any additional things to worry about when we travel.
And this would be the airport in Tioman. On the right is immigration. Seriously, the most low-key airport I have ever been in. The day we left to fly back to Singapore we noticed that they used a chalkboard to list the times of the 3 flights leaving that day.
After we landed, picked up our bags from the runway (where they wheeled them to us), figured out how to get money and then travel to our hotel, the kids wasted no time at all getting to the beach.
Sitting on the front porch of our bungalow. Oh, yes good things are in store for us on this island.
