Today I went to pottery town with a friend. This is a city about an hour and a half from Suzhou where they make china that is sold all over the world. Throughout the city, there are pottery shops, but there is also a warehouse where you can buy dishes. In the warehouse, the dishes are tied in bundles then stacked everywhere - even up to the ceiling in places. The prices are great - hen pianyi (very cheap)!

Some of the dishes that I bought. My favorite are the snowmen plates - each of them are a bit different. So very cute! I am excited about all the bright colored dishes to go with my fiestaware. :-D
