Ready, Set, CLEAN!

This weekend our goal was to really get our house in shape so that we could put it on the market in the next couple weeks. We wanted to clean every closet, pitch things and really pare down what was in our house. Now, our kids did not have the same goal as we did. :-) Saturday went well and Andy and I got a lot done, but Sunday we wanted to work on their rooms. I got the idea that we could make a game out of it. Andy thought I was ridiculous that in the middle of organizing, I wanted to stop and create a game on the computer. I spent about 5-10 minutes making scorecards for Pick-up BINGO and soon our kids were really into the game. With squares like, "put away 5 toys," "throw away 2 things,"and "put something in the give away box," our kids had a blast picking up their rooms. After Becca got a BINGO, I suggested that we go for cover-all and they both cheered!
