We went out to a Chinese restaurant tonight with the current manager and his family. After our last experience, Andy and I approached this with great trepidation. But this was a much different experience! The other couple ordered the food, though Andy and I had eaten at this restaurant in January and we requested this certain fish. All the kids tried a bunch of different things. Tori's favorite was the tofu (I would have never guessed that one). She kept saying "More tofu! More tofu!" Becca's favorite continues to be dumplings. We were happy that Josh tried 3 or 4 different things. He is definitely taking small steps, but he is eating some things. Surprisingly enough, all the kids tried this fish and everyone (Josh included) liked it. I have to add that if you get over the head looking at you, this fish is wonderful. The photo at the top is Becca about to try it. Can you see the head and tail?
OH MY GOSH. Caelyn (and maybe mommy, too) would definately starve in China. :-)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to be able to read this. Been thinking of you guys. Cassidy saw Becca's name on a clean-up duty list at lunch (WWES) and said she'd moved to China and the "lunch man" said "yeah and I'm moving to Australia". She was shocked that someone maybe thought she was fibbing. Anyway, you are a great mom and a good sport and wow that fish looks... fish-like. Enjoy the weekend! Is there a weekend there? Julie White
