After Mount Kinabalu, we then headed to Poring. This is an area famous in Borneo for its hot springs. Now we didn't go in the hot springs, but we headed here because we had read about a canopy walk through the rainforest treetops. I have a fear of heights, but still wanted to do this. The canopy walk is 41 meters (about 45 yards) off the ground and contained 6 bridges. This was quite an experience! Becca did the whole thing by herself. In fact, I had to keep telling her to slow down and wait for us. I was so proud of Josh. He was really freaked out by how the bridges bounced and moved but he did the whole thing by himself. As you can maybe tell by the pictures, he was my shadow for the whole thing, and never more than 1 or 2 steps behind me.
Tori took one step on the bridge and decided NO WAY was she going to walk across the bouncy bridge. So Andy carried her the ENTIRE way. Go Daddy!
The view from the walkway was incredible. Now granted, I was mostly focused on getting Josh and I across. ;-)
